Moms Really Can Do It All
The strongest women we know also happen to be moms.
There’s a kind of strength that doesn’t always make headlines: the kind that shows up at 6am before the rest of the house is awake, that packs lunches and answers emails and remembers every appointment and somehow, somehow, still finds time to show up for herself, too.
We see you, moms. And we are in awe.
At WAG, we’ve always believed that taking care of yourself is an act of love. Love for your family, your future, and you. But we also know that for so many moms, putting yourself first can feel like the hardest thing on an already impossible list. The guilt. The time. The sheer mental load of holding everything together.
That’s why the moms in our community move us so deeply.
They’re not choosing between their families and their health. They’re showing up for both, every single day. They’re making it to workouts between school drop-offs and board meetings. They’re logging meals after the kids are in bed. They’re proving, over and over, that self-care isn’t selfish. It’s the foundation everything else is built on.
This Mother’s Day, our coaches are celebrating five incredible WAG members who embody that truth. Their stories are different, but the thread running through each one is the same: a quiet, fierce, unstoppable determination to show up.
We couldn’t be more proud to have them in this community. 💛
Holly started WAG 3 months after the birth of her 2nd child. She was breastfeeding her baby and looking to get back into a routine with nutrition and fitness. She wanted to maintain a healthy milk supply for her baby while getting back to healthy habits for herself and her family and losing baby weight.
She shows up week to week with no excuses. She puts in the work and gives herself grace when things don’t go as planned. Life happens with sick kids and traveling, and she’s learned she can be flexible when she needs to without stressing about it. She has the foundation in place with her go-to meals and tracking. She’s been working out in her home gym around the kids’ schedule. She’s created a routine at home that works around her schedule.
Check out her transformation over the last year. She’s getting stronger in the gym and feeling great in her body. She’s taking care of herself and her family, all while prioritizing her goals. I’m so proud of Holly and the effort she puts in week to week!
Dani has been one of the hardest working clients I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with! Seeing Dani’s updates each week, and chatting on our video calls about her goals each month has been a highlight for me as a coach.
When Dani first came to WAG she had the goal of losing 25-30 pounds and gaining strength back after having her two kids. She has not only exceeded both of those goals, but she’s gained a ton of confidence in her body and what she’s able to do in the gym! Her body and mind have both transformed and she exudes confidence and strength.
In the past 7 months we’ve switched up macros, added refeed days and Dani has been on board with all of it. She’s also taken countless vacations with her family where she had a hybrid approach to tracking. The ability for Dani to commit to her goals but also realize that her lifestyle had to be sustainable is my favorite win. Our approach to making this a sustainable lifestyle for Dani has really helped her lean into those daily habits she’s built around food and the gym - consistency and dedication, day after day.
I couldn’t be more proud of all the hard work she’s put in, and we’re just getting started!
My supermom client, Gia, doesn’t let anything get in the way of her goals, and she’s proven that in less than four months! Coming into this journey as a mom to three—all three years old and under—I knew she was capable but also had a lot on her plate and a full life. Not only did she join WAG as a busy mom, she was also only four months postpartum.
Throughout the past couple months together she has tackled all the things that moms do - but she never wavered in her goals to feel her best. She’s lost an impressive 14 pounds and 10 inches - even more importantly, she’s gained some really great habits and routines that will continue to take her to the next level.
Haley came to WAG for the 2nd time because she was ready to change her body composition. This time because she was 4.5 months postpartum. Haley was trying to manage her nutrition on her own, which she did a really good job! She lost about 25 pounds on her own, but reached a sticking point and wasn’t sure what to do next. Haley leaned on me with all of her trust, which I so appreciated. She followed every suggestion and even made a few lifestyle changes. What she didn’t change was the fact that she wanted to continue to eat out at least once a week and occasionally enjoy an alcoholic beverage, and I was OK with that! I gave her a few guidelines to consider and she was very willing to keep all that in mind.
Throughout our 1 year journey together, we have reached so many milestones. She has been able to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight (actually beyond that!! Haley is the leanest she has ever been!) and she has also gained so much fitness. Haley currently runs laps around everyone and she has hit all time strength PRs in the gym (back squatting almost 100 pounds OVER body weight!). She is stronger, faster, and leaner… with a little 1 year old kiddo!
Haley’s journey has not been a walk in the park. She has gone through job changes, a move across the country, illnesses, navigating life as a first-time-mom of a newborn, and so much more! Yet, she has stayed as consistent as she could through all of these situations and did her best. Over time, her efforts have paid off. This year’s journey has improved her mindset around food and how important it is to fuel her body with balanced nutrition. I am so proud of Haley and she inspires me that anything is possible no matter how busy you may be.
There’s no better time than now to work on your goals, and Lindsey is a fantastic example of this! Lindsey is a busy mom of 4 kids. She started WAG at about 1 month postpartum and during our time together she has dealt with all that life could possibly throw at you. Yet, she stayed resilient and determined.
This progress didn’t happen because Lindsey was perfect; it was a result of never giving up nor waiting for the perfect time to work on her goals. Her results are a product of consistency, hard work, and a growth mindset. We have been able to surpass her pre-pregnancy weight goal all while managing stress, limited sleep, and busy sports weekends. Lindsey is a wonderful example of what is possible even when life gets a little bumpy along the way. I am so proud of Lindsey’s hard work and tenacity!
These five women are proof that the most powerful thing a mom can do is refuse to disappear. Not into the carpool line, not into the never-ending to-do list, not into the version of herself that exists only in service of everyone else. They chose themselves, too. And that choice changed everything.
If you’re a mom reading this and feeling that quiet pull, that voice that says I want this for myself, we want you to know: you don’t have to figure it out alone.
WAG coaching was built for real life. That means flexible check-ins that fit your schedule, a coach who actually gets to know you, and a plan designed around your life, not someone else’s. No rigid rules. No unrealistic expectations. Just personalized support that meets you exactly where you are, even if where you are is exhausted and starting from scratch.
You deserve this. You always have. 💛
